  • kinara -- special candle holder used during Kwanzaa.
  • Christmas -- the annual Christian festival celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ
  • Santa Claus -- is said to bring gifts to the homes of good children during the late evening and overnight hours of Christmas Eve.
  • tannenbaum -- a Christmas tree, decorated evergreen coniferous tree, real or artificial, and a tradition associated with the celebration of Christmas.
  • dreidel -- a four-sided spinning top, played with during the Jewis holiday of Hanukkah.

  • Chrismons -- Christmas decorations with Christian symbols on them used on trees, in churches and in homes.
  • Hanukkah -- The Jewish Feast of Lights or Feast of Dedication. The Hebrew word Hanukkah means dedication.
  • Saint Nicholas -- Fourth century saint who had a reputation for secret gift-giving and thus became the model for Santa Claus
