- Compound -- A type of matter made up of two elements that are chemically bonded.
- Gas -- s a state of matter which the molecules do not have a defined shape or volume.
- Density -- A concentration of matter, mass per unit of volume
- Solution -- Is a mixture of two or more substances uniformly dispersed. The mixture is spread out evenly and will not settle.
- Element -- The basic building block of matter. It cannot be broken down by chemical means.
