  • Golgi apparatus -- It modifies, stores, and directs the movement of molecules mde by ER (most cells except bacterial cells)
  • Nucleus -- A large organelle inside many cells. Controls cell functions-the control center of the cell. (most cells except bacterial cells)
  • Nuclear Membran -- Separates the nucleus from the cytoplasm. A double layered membrane enclosing the nucleus of the cell.
  • Organelle -- A compartment in the cytoplasm that has a specific function
  • Vesicle -- Transports substances (most cells except bacterial cells)
  • ER- Smooth -- It makes lipids and gets rid of chemicals and poisons. (most cells except bacterial cells)
  • Cytoskeleton -- It has cell shape and movement-is like a thick web and plays a role in muscle contraction, cell division, cell movemovement and maintenance of cell shape. (all cells)
  • Genetic Materia -- The material in the nucleus is made up of long chains of DNA that are coiled into structures called chromosomes.
  • Cell Wall -- It surrounds the cell outside the cell membrane. It is tough, yet flexible material made mostly of cellulose (in plants, fungi and some bacteria cells)
  • Cell Membrane -- Regulates movement of substances into and out of a cell-a flexible covering that surrounds every cell.(all cells)
