- won -- (verb) Past tense of win. To come in first in a contest

- to -- (preposition) Toward, in the direction of.
- wear -- (verb) To be dressed in something, or to carry or have something on your body. The gradual damage done to something by constant use.

- pare -- (verb) To cut off the outer layer. To reduce or make less step by step, as if by cutting.
- sun -- (noun) The star that the earth and other planets revolve around and that gives us light and warmth.
