Stingray Chaser

Free stingrays and remove harmful algae from the ocean. After removing enough debris from the stingrays, you will be asked to select the correct answer to continue.

Library Word Wall

  • CHECK OUT -- The process of borrowing a book from the library.
  • SPINE -- The edge of a book. This is what you see when you pull a book from the shelves. You find the call number here.
  • BAR CODE -- This sticker is placed on the back or inside of the book. There is one on each item in the library. This is the number that is scanned into the computer when you check out so we know which copy is out
  • FICTION -- A made up, imaginary literary composition. A chapter book that is a story.
  • CHECK IN -- The process of returning a borrowed library book back to the library.
  • AUTOBIOGRAPHY -- If a person tells the story about him or herself it is called an autobiography.
  • ILLUSTRATOR -- The person who creates the pictures of a book.
  • DICTIONARY -- A book used to find meaning, spelling and pronunciation of a word.
  • COPYRIGHT DATE -- Birthdate of a book.
  • LIBRARY -- A collection of materials such as books, periodicals, and databases that may be used or borrowed by patrons.
  • AUTHOR -- The person who writes the words in a book.
  • NONFICTION -- Books that tell you about people, places or things. Literature that is true, based on fact.
  • TITLE PAGE -- The title page in the book where you can find the title, the author and the illustrator.
  • CALL NUMBER -- Address of the book, can be found on the spine label of a book.
